About Zheng

Hi, I'm Jasmin! I'm a warm, reliable, and passionate educator currently pursuing my Master’s degree at UQ. With prior experience as an Education Assistant in a language center and my current role supporting students in a Brisbane state school, I excel at explaining complex ideas clearly and building positive relationships with learners.

I love teaching because seeing students gain confidence in speaking a new language is incredibly rewarding. I always bring patience, custom-designed activities, and a respectful practice to help every learner thrive in a supportive environment.

About the lesson

As a Master of Applied Linguistics candidate at The University of Queensland and an active language partner at Brisbane South State Secondary College, I design engaging, learner-centered Chinese lessons tailored to your specific goals.

My teaching methodology combines second language acquisition theories with interactive tasks, such as role-plays and communicative games, making learning both fun and practical. I offer tailored tuition for all ages and levels, including school-aged children needing academic support and adults focusing on conversational Mandarin. Typical lessons are 45 minutes long.
