About Mikayla
My name is Mikayla and I immigrated to NZ from South Africa when I was 16 (I am now 22). My native language is Afrikaans. I am very passionate about teaching English especially to people that have recently immigrated and need an extra bit of help speaking and understanding English. I have had to teach myself to understand and speak like the Kiwis and through this I have gained a lot of experience and now I can help others do the same!

I provide tutoring for all ages. I specialize in teaching pronunciations and helping students understand common words and phrases that New Zealanders use. My lessons are quick (30min) but very informative and helpful! I am naturally very patient so can allocate more time if needed.
