My lessons combine real-world engineering experience with structured academic learning. As a Marine Chief Engineer and STEM Educator, I focus on helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorising them. I use practical examples from industry, case studies, problem-solving exercises, and step-by-step guidance to make complex topics easier to understand.
I teach marine engineering, diesel engines, propulsion systems, power plant management, fuel systems, shipping, maritime law, research methodology, quantitative analysis, dissertation writing, and academic research skills.
Lessons are tailored to individual needs and can support GCSE, A-Level, university, maritime cadet, postgraduate, and professional learners. Typical lessons last 60–90 minutes and may include exam preparation, assignment support, research projects, dissertation guidance, and professional development. My goal is to build confidence, strengthen understanding, and help students achieve measurable academic and career success.
