About Siena
I am a Biology tutor with over 3 years of teaching experience and hold an MSc in Immunology. While my academic background is strong in cellular biology, my greatest interest lies in marine biology and oceanography. I focus my teaching on ecosystems, currents, and the challenges of human activity on oceans. I use documentaries, research articles, and interactive discussions to make learning exciting. Students dive into coral reefs, deep-sea species, and the importance of conservation. I encourage learners to make connections between science and global issues. My lessons are both structured and adaptable. Exam preparation includes targeted practice, while curiosity-driven learners enjoy open exploration. I believe biology should inspire as well as educate. I simplify complex ideas with visuals and real-life examples. Students learn how nutrient cycles and ocean circulation sustain life on Earth. My approach to teaching biology is reflective and focused on what is often invisible. I emphasize microbiology, bacteria, viruses, and the transmission of disease. Lessons are calm and structured, making learning steady and clear. I help learners understand how pathogens work and how immunity defends us. Public health biology connects these topics to real-world events like pandemics and prevention. I explain complex systems step by step with visuals and examples.
