About XIAOXI
I am a graduate of Newcastle University’s MA Education Research Programme. The subject of my undergraduate degree is Teaching Chinese as a Second Language. As a result of completing both degree programmes, I have developed an advanced level of competency in practical teaching. I have also achieved an extensive level of teaching knowledge. I am certified as a teacher of Chinese as a Second Language by The International Society of Chinese Language Pedagogy. I am an excellent communicator and a native Chinese speaker with high English proficiency.
I have previously occupied several teaching positions. During my studies in England, I have successfully tutored many students in the Chinese language. I have mainly tutored on a one-to-one basis. I used a wide range of teaching methods to meet the differing needs, and requirements of my students, and to ensure that my teaching was appropriate for their current Chinese ability.
