About Debolina
Hi, I'm Debolina! I'm currently a second-year management student at Jindal Global Business School, where I study business ethics, HR management, organizational culture, and strategic analysis, alongside a strong personal interest in finance and markets.
I decided to teach Business English because I've been in your shoes recently — figuring out how to communicate confidently in professional settings, understand business terminology, and express ideas clearly in meetings, emails, and presentations. That experience is fresh for me, which is exactly why I think I can teach it well: I remember what's actually confusing for a beginner, and I know how to explain it in a way that clicks.
I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely enjoy breaking down complicated concepts into simple, practical takeaways. My goal isn't just to teach you words — it's to help you feel confident using them in real situations, whether that's a job interview, a client email, or a classroom presentation. I teach practical Business English — the kind you actually need in meetings, emails, and interviews, not textbook grammar. As a business student myself, I focus on real workplace vocabulary: negotiation phrases, professional email etiquette, presentation language, and the everyday jargon used in corporate settings.
My classes are structured in three parts: a short warm-up to build confidence in speaking, a core lesson on a specific business skill or set of terms (like discussing strategy, giving feedback, or writing a formal email), and a practice segment where you apply it to real scenarios — mock interviews, mock meetings, or role-play negotiations. I keep sessions conversational rather than lecture-style, so you're speaking more than I am.
What makes my approach different is that I'm learning and applying this material myself right now, in a business school classroom — so I teach it the way it's actually used today, not from an outdated syllabus. I break down complex business terms into simple, memorable explanations, and I always connect language to context: not just "what does this word mean" but "when and how do professionals actually use it."
