About Sabrina
I'm a post-secondary student working towards my degrees in Psychiatry and Early Childhood Education, with a particular emphasis on education for youth with exceptionalities. I'm passionate about building bridges to learning gaps in youth and young adults. Supported by 15 years of tutoring experience, I feel that much of the time, things only need to be explained differently for learners not only to comprehend topics but also to build sturdy foundations and build upon their wealth of knowledge. Nothing is more rewarding than the "lightbulb moment" when a student finally understands and can face a problem confidently. I have found those rewarding moments in the past, particularly within primary and elementary level math, middle school level sciences and English; my favorites are English, time management and learning skills within the high school and university age bracket. I excel in time management skills, English, and Sciences. My interests outside of tutoring include planning, knitting, and other crafty activities. I look forward to meeting you and helping you excel in your lifelong learning journey!

I help middle school, high school, and early university students understand biology, earth science, and general science through clear explanations and relatable examples. My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex ideas into understandable pieces. I aim to create those “lightbulb moments” where science finally makes sense and becomes enjoyable, meaningful, and easier to apply in real-world contexts.
