About Eugene
As Chinese history is my main interest that I'm studying it more than 10 years. I would like to teach in a different concepts but not only memorizing and lack of understand about it. This is because history is a subject that can nourishing our thoughts and make us open our mindset to generate more ideas and viewpoints. As we know, thinking out of the box can make us more creative and strengthen up our logical thinking. History are not just only facts, but also a fertile field that give us to questioning, assumption & analyzing, and learning from mistakes & examples.
My major field is "Spring & Autumn period" and "The Warring States period", which was considered as the establishing period for all the Chinese ideologies and culture. Compare to the mainstream viewpoints of these 2 periods which is chaotic and divided, these 2 periods were actually an amazing period that it born a lot of stories, incidents, traditions, and even strategies & tactics. The incidents in these periods were exciting and would not lose to the imperial China like the mainstream are spreading. With these factors, it can let you generating a lots of curiosity and questions, to let you get know more on this forgotten periods, and making you to have more new viewpoints in the history field.

Chinese history is not a major subject in Malaysia education system, therefore it may not have any syllabus from me towards either government or private schools. However, I have self study on Chinese history as my own hobby and interest, and generated different viewpoints and opinions that opposite to mainstream concepts and viewpoints. Thoughts and ideas are important to building our self-identity and enrichment. I can let you to grow up as a person who has unique opinions and independent thinking through Chinese history.
So far, I have studied the Chinese history before the Imperial China has started more than 10 years, and still continuing to study it. My major field will be the "Spring & Autumn period" and "The Warring States period". But I have also studied the imperial dynasties as well, so need not to worry if I know about the dynasties from Qin to Qing or not. It is my first time to have this special online class but it is important to do so as it can teach and inherited new historical viewpoints to the new generations or those who having same interest in history.

My lessons (or we can say discussion sessions) can conduct in Mandarin, Cantonese, English, or Malay (If needed and needs preparation).

As the level increasing, the rates will be increasing as well. But when it reach to a certain level, students can decide how much they feel worth to add on, or maintain the basic rate as RM35 per hour.
