Having undergone the A-Levels system myself I am very familiar with the intricacies of the exam and the most effective strategies of success.
Specifically I want to stress that the secret of success in A-Level Mathematics not necessarily intelligence but smart practise:
The exams tend to have a limited pool of exercise types that get recycled. The only way to internalise a concept of mathematics -no matter your level- is to spend time becoming familiar with it.
Precisely this time devotion between chapters/exercises is what an expert like me will guide and supervise
As such the teaching format will follow these lines;
a) learn chapter theory
b) solving core exercise types to embed the ideas.
c) solve the similar exercise types through the assistance of the student and address common mistakes
d) assign homework problems of different/harder problem types
At the start of next Lesson:
go through the problems that the student had a hard time on.
Depending on the strength of the student the time allocated or difficulty on each step will be dynamically adjusted.
I will attempt to make the teaching process as easy as possible via physical examples and I will encourage questions so that the content is well internalised.
But let me stress that success is only achieved through hard work and dedication.
There are no bad students, only those that have yet to fully cultivate interest in the subject are.
And I will do my absolute best to pass on my fascination for the subject to my students.
Only then will the work be worth the investment.
