About Raynel
I’m a professional recording artist, songwriter, radio and TV personality with decades of experience in music, performance, and entertainment. I’ve written and recorded across hip-hop, R&B, and other styles, and I’ve collaborated with a wide range of artists throughout my career.
My approach to songwriting is practical, creative, and artist-focused. I help students develop stronger concepts, lyrics, hooks, rhyme schemes, structure, flow, cadence, storytelling, and overall song ideas while still keeping their own voice intact.
Whether you’re starting with a beat, a freestyle, a rough voice memo, half a verse, or just an idea in your head, I can help you shape it into something more complete and effective.
I especially enjoy working with artists who want to become more confident writers and understand why certain songs connect. The goal isn’t to make you sound like me — it’s to help you become better at sounding like you.
I work with beginners, developing artists, singers who want to improve their lyric writing, and experienced performers looking for another creative perspective.

I help artists turn ideas into finished songs.
Whether you’re a rapper, singer, songwriter, or someone just getting started, these one-on-one sessions are designed to help you strengthen your lyrics, hooks, song structure, flow, storytelling, and overall creative process.
We can work on songs you’ve already started or build something completely from scratch. I can help you get past writer’s block, tighten verses, develop stronger concepts, find better rhyme patterns, improve hooks, and make your writing feel more natural and memorable.
My approach is hands-on and personalized. We can work on:
- Song concepts and brainstorming
- Verses, hooks, bridges, and song structure
- Rhyme schemes and wordplay
- Flow, cadence, and delivery
- Storytelling and emotional writing
- Writing to beats and melodies
- Editing and rewriting existing songs
- Developing your own artistic voice
- Overcoming writer’s block
- Turning freestyles into complete songs
I’ve spent years writing, recording, performing, and collaborating across hip-hop and other styles of music, so I focus on techniques that actually translate into finished records—not just songwriting theory.
