About Pascal Samuël

Teaching vocal techniques to a few people who wish to acquire a good foundation for better sing or just have fun. Most of my students were beginners and are now able to sing in private for their own pleasure, on behalf of their relatives or to an audience. They can master their tool and have gained confidence and have fun singing today. Some are members of choirs, others also venturing in solo performances.

About the lesson

The vocal techniques are equally well adapted for beginners who want to learn to place their voice and singing as well as insiders who want to improve their vocal potential ... a class or lesson lasts an hour and therefore includes small breathing exercises, placement of voice and singing vocalisations followed by the singing (two or three songs on average). A new song for each session will be taught on average at least. The first part of exercises, singing etc takes one third of the time, and is important for the preparation of the vocal cords and the whole apparatus before exercise. Any athlete should warm up before exercise! Singing, especially opera, asks similar efforts to those of a top athlete. Hence the importance of the exercises that we do. During the first course, we will probably spend a little more time to this part "warm-up" so that the student assimilates the approach to singing best.
