I am a Sociology student at the London School of Economics with experience tutoring A-Level students, helping them achieve top grades including A*. My approach focuses on building a clear understanding of psychological theories alongside strong exam technique.
In lessons, I break down key topics such as memory, attachment, and research methods into simple, structured explanations. I focus on helping students understand and apply studies, develop evaluation skills (AO3), and write clear, well-structured exam answers.
I use a combination of explanation, active recall, and exam practice to ensure students fully understand the content rather than just memorising it. We regularly work through past paper questions and improve technique step by step.
I tailor each lesson to the student. For those who feel less confident, I take a supportive, step-by-step approach. For higher-achieving students, I focus on refining evaluation, depth of analysis, and exam timing.
Lessons typically last one hour, and are aimed at A-Level Psychology students (ages 16–18) who want to improve their understanding, exam performance, and confidence.
