About Mayra
Hey!! My name is Mayra!
I'm from Slovakia, though I've spent most of my life now living all around the UK. I'm in my penultimate year of Law at the London School of Economics.
Though I aspire to work in EU Law or academia, I intend to spend the few years after my graduation in full-time travel. Solo-travelling, recently became a huge passion of mine. I would love nothing more than to go back and actually explore Central and South America in their entirety.
I've always had a love for humanities/essay-based subjects, having pursued Global Politics, Economics and English Literature HL for the IB.
I honestly can't wait to meet you all and help share my love for Economics!

Having attained a 9/A* at IGCSE Economics and a 7 in Economics HL as part of the IB, I feel confident to prepare others for similar exams.
A typical lesson can last an hour (although I am flexible with the student's needs). You can choose to either bring your own material or I can supply.

Mayra is great at explaining complicated topics in terms that anyone can understand and most importantly reproduce during exams. She does this by being friendly, caring and a ball of energy tailoring lessons to her students. Studying together with Mayra through a mixture of explaining, and model answers to past papers questions I was able to get my best grade to date.
