About Michael
As a father of three teenagers, I'm accustomed to working around busy schedules and figuring out quick ways to explain concepts. I have taught high school math for over 20 years and also taught at a local university for seven years. Courses I have taught include pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Calculus, and Business Math. I enjoy helping students reach the "Ah-ha!" moments when things come together and make sense for them.

I have been a classroom teacher for over 20 years and have been told by many students that I do a great job of explaining complex/complicated topics in easy to understand words. I typically teach by asking questions and helping students connect new concepts to something they know. I have completed special certification processes in ACT prep and Texas Instruments technology.
