About Deirdre
I am 23 years old and live in Newmarket, Ontario. I have 5 siblings, 4 of which are younger and I have helped them with homework for as long as I can remember. I have also done a variety of placements through school and as a result, have worked with many students who have had a variety of struggles with school, hence hiring a tutor. I have babysat children from the age of 3 months-12 years and, again, have helped many of them with homework. I hope to help my clients understand concepts that they may have struggled with before, which builds confidence in their ability, which all students should have.

I have worked with students from kindergarten through grade 8 in a variety of subjects, but mostly literacy-type struggles. I have just finished my first year of teacher's college and I am looking to gain some more experience! I have worked with students who are below grade level and together, we increased their grade in that class.
