About Mark
I learnt to play chess as a child and grew up playing in chess clubs and tournaments and achieved an online blitz rating of 2440 this year. After school, I pursued a degree in Philosophy at King's College London. I've been a chess coach for 4 years teaching in schools such as St. Paul's in Mill Hill and Christ Church Primary School in Hampstead as well as teaching online to players of all ages from beginners to advanced players. I still play in over-the-board tournaments in Hendon and Hammersmith. My achievements include notable wins over grandmasters such as Lev Gutman and Samantha Ross
