About Sofya
Hello, I am Sofya! I was born in Siberia, Russia and I now I'm living and working in London, with a few stops in between. I began my journey with practicing yoga when I was a member of Emirates Airlines cabin crew, and that is where I first appreciated what yoga practice can add to one's life. From being in an office job to flying around the world as cabin crew, work and other things take a toll on one's body (and mind) and it is so important to treat your body with care!
I left Emirates and studied teaching yoga in Rishikesh, India and received teacher certifications in Hatha, Vinyasa. Later I added Yin and Aerial yoga teaching certifications from other teacher institutes.
I have other passions - cooking (certified in vegan natural cooking), music, and bicycling around London.
I can't wait to meet you and help you find your own style of yoga!

I am passionate about helping beginners and intermediates with learning how to enjoy and appreciate their yoga practice.
My practice is catered to the individual, and can focus on different styles such as Hatha Vinyasa and Yin.
The best length for a satisfying yoga practice is usually 60-90 minutes, but don't be intimidated by the time! Yoga is about enjoying the journey and not focusing on the result.
For a pure beginner's class, or if you have no preferred direction, we would structure your first lesson in a more classic structure, with a build up into some 'flows' (cycle of yoga poses). But, just like music there are many different styles and approaches, and we would work together to design your style, so that you can add yoga into your life in the best way possible for you!
