About Adam
My reasons for tutoring comes from a personal place. Its so important that through your learning you develop the key skills needed to critically analyse the modern world as well as the ancient. Consider the ways you see heritage and archaeology discussed in the news. Who does heritage belong to? Why conduct archaeology at all? What can the past tell us about today? I want to teach you amazing Latin, but I also want to teach you why you should even bother, and why you should be passionate about learning it.
I am working as a professional archaeologist with Museum of London Archaeology, and I am a post-graduate student at UCL meanwhile. I have, and continue to, put my life and soul into these subjects. I graduated with 83% overall in my Bachelor of Arts while teaching and supporting fellow students in field-schools and sessions with societies and professional archaeology companies. Since then, I have been an active and integral researcher as part of the Sagalassos Project, an ongoing international endeavor, seeking to understand Late-antique Roman urbanism.

I believe in a person-centric approach to all things. I seek to understand how *you* appreciate things and learn best, and tailor the lessons to your strengths and interests. This philosophy to teaching stems from my experience assisting in SEN schools.
I firmly believe that every student deserves the chance that they need, and so while I will start my lessons at ca. 30 minutes, I would be happy to extend any lessons to give back whatever the student puts in.
Ideally, I would tailor my lessons to A-level students in order to also provide support on getting into university and academia, however, I would also love to ignite passion in GCSE students!
