About Pritom
My name is Pritom, and I am a highly experienced dance instructor and creative choreographer based in London. With over 15 years of formal training in Indian classical and folk dance forms and more than 10 years of professional choreography experience, I bring both technical expertise and artistic creativity to every class I teach. Dance has been a central part of my life from a young age which has also medically helped me in my post cancer treatment recovery, and I am passionate about sharing this knowledge with students in a structured, encouraging, and professional manner. I specialise in Bollywood, Indian classical, folk, and modern dance, helping students develop strong foundations, confidence, musicality, and expressive performance skills. I am committed to maintaining a positive and respectful learning environment where students of all ages and levels feel supported, motivated, and inspired to grow both technically and creatively through dance.

My teaching approach combines strong technical foundations with creativity and confidence-building. I tailor each class to the student’s age, level, and goals, ensuring a supportive and enjoyable learning environment. Lessons focus on correct posture, rhythm, expressions, musicality, and movement quality, rooted in Indian classical and folk techniques while incorporating Bollywood and modern dance styles. Teaching Methodology: Classes follow a clear structure: warm-up, technique training, step-by-step routine learning, creative choreography, and cool-down. I break movements down carefully and progress at a comfortable pace, encouraging self-expression and performance confidence. Lesson Length: Typical lessons are 60 minutes, with longer sessions available for choreography or performance preparation. Experience & Students: I have 15+ years of training in Indian classical and folk dance and 10+ years of professional choreography experience. I teach children and adults, from beginners to advanced levels, including students preparing for performances or learning for personal enjoyment.
