About Matilde
I inspire confidence in a non-judgmental and fun environment, showing children how empowering the written word is. My lessons are structured to excite and engage, and provide the necessary tools to improve literacy skills at all levels. I have worked in state schools and Young offending institutions.
I have a BA(Hons) in Classics and Archaeology, and Postgrad diplomas in both Management Studies and Visual Communications.
In the last 6 years I have focused on developing my creative practice with a particular interest in writing children's books. In 2019 I was mentored by the Young Vic theatre as part of a year long programme resulting in my debut play being long-listed by Theatre503 International Playwriting Award. I use my skills and interests to add extra depth and interest to my lessons.
