About Michelle
I have 13 years of violin playing experience and have completed both my certificate of performance and achieved my AMusA diploma with distinction and recently received my LMusA diploma. As well as being a soloist, I have great orchestral and chamber experience and have served as a concertmaster.

My teaching method is based on developing aural skills as well as sight reading and orchestral skills. I seek to not only teach my students well but to inspire a love and appreciation of music and encourage students to play a variety of different styles. I can teach both Suzuki violin and AMEB repertoire having learned both as a student myself. In general, my teaching always focuses on working to develop a beautiful tone and control of the bow. For more advanced students, developing a mature appreciation of phrasing and musicality in their playing as well as continuously developing technique. I encourage students to listen to a variety of music and to explore their unique style of expression through music.
