About Svenja
Hello Students,
I am an LLB student at the university of London, I completed my AS/A levels in Mathematics, German, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology. I've been doing private tutoring for the past three years in the subjects of Mathematics,Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), History, Psychology, English and German. I am specialised in the subjects of Biology, Mathematics, German and English.

As a private tutor, my approach is centered around creating a personalized and engaging learning experience for each student. Here’s how I typically structure my lessons and what sets me apart:
My teaching methodology revolves around understanding the individual needs and learning styles of my students. I believe in a student-centered approach where the learner actively participates in the learning process. I incorporate a variety of resources such as interactive exercises, real-life examples, multimedia materials, and practical applications to ensure comprehension and retention of the subject matter. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt quickly to the student's pace and preferences, ensuring they grasp concepts effectively.
Languages and Proficiency:
I am proficient in teaching English as I completed it in AS levels as first language, being able to teach from beginner to intermediate. I am proficient in teaching German, I completed my AS levels as first language and it is also the language I grew up with, as well as attending DSJ (German stream) from grade 6 through to grade 11, thus enabling me to teach from beginner to advanced.
During a typical lesson, students can expect a blend of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities tailored to their proficiency level. We start with a review of previous lessons and what they have learned in school to reinforce learning, followed by introducing new material with clear explanations and examples. I encourage interactive dialogue to practice speaking skills, and exercises to strengthen grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. Each lesson concludes with a summary of key points and homework assignments designed to reinforce learning outside of our sessions.
My lessons are aimed at all students and people at different levels, in the subjects of German, English, Mathematics and Biology.
