About Calais
I am a vibrant Londoner with 8 years of experience as an English Tutor. I earned a first-class degree in English at SOAS, which is a university with a global approach to studies. For this reason, I'm very knowledgeable of different cultures, languages, and materials.
With a tutor, you don't have very much time to get down to the nitty-gritty. I know how important it is to focus on areas that you may be struggling in. I'm very proud of the progress of my students, and stay results-driven.
However, I also understand the importance of enjoying and being engaged with the material! I have a genuine love for language, and I hope it's infectious. I use examples from topics you truly enjoy, as I believe that is the best way to retain all of the knowledge you learn.
