About Nicole
I have my BA in English from the University at Albany, and I graduated Summa Cum Laude. I currently hold a 4.0 GPA with Honors at Russell Sage College, where I study Childhood Education and Literacy. I have been tutoring for over a year, both in center and online, and am open to tutoring both in person or over Zoom.

- I am trained in special education methods and utilize ADHD support methods for students who have a difficult time focusing.
- I enjoy teaching through games, especially when it comes to younger students.
- I teach phonics in addition to whole word literacy.
- I am trained in several evaluation methods for benchmark testing and progress reporting. I utilize Fountas & Pinnell reading scales.
- I adapt to my student's preferred learning methods and will have my student take the Garner's Multiple Intelligence's Quiz on our first session together. This will help me gear my lessons more towards them.
- My lessons are K-12, though I am trained most thoroughly in K-8.
