About Evie
I am working towards my degree in Linguistics. I studied English Language and Literature, History, Politics and Sociology at A-Level so know how to write a really good essay.
I currently tutor two students at GCSE level and I have also taught children and young people. I used to work at a pre-school, so know how to communicate with young people and explain concepts.

I am quite a visual learner so I try to teach in a visual way. I find mind maps very useful when explaining concepts and linking ideas together. I also like to use colour to make points stand out or when giving examples.
I like to use bullet points to relay key bits of information and make the most important aspects stand out.
I am no artist, but wherever possible I will use drawings to explain ideas in a memorable and fun way.
