About Darija
I am a 22 year old senior student at the Philology Faculty of the University of Belgrade, majoring in Japanese language, culture and literature. My studies and profession do not only consist of the linguistic aspects of learning a language, but rather provide a better and fuller context to the cultural background and development of not only Japanese, but other languages of the world as well. I try to implement different and more playful ways to learn languages, using various materials and techniques. My aspiration in life is to become a full-time teacher.

The lessons consist of three sections, each focusing on a different aspect of learning the Japanese language: vocabulary, grammar and writing/speaking. The beginning lessons will focus on memorizing hiragana and katakana and as the difficulty increases, the focus will shift more towards kanji. I offer a variety of different media and textbooks which will help increase the interactivity - the most important aspect of learning a language! These lessons are perfect for those who are interested in learning the language but might be put off by the complexity of JLPT recommended textbooks and guides, or those who are afraid to commit to rigid courses with many students. The lessons start from the very basics and the level increases at your own pace.
