About Naomi
I graduated with my B.A. in Linguistics and tutored English as a second language at my college as well as tutored my classmates in editing their assignments to more organized and clear presentations of their concepts. I have decided to go back to school for my Master's and coach Ultimate Frisbee at UCI. I always strive to aid my clients to succeed in whatever way that looks to them and what actively helps them be successful in their educational life.

When I teach, I start by seeing where the client is in their learning journey and take into account what their goals are and creating a plan based on those and their learning preferences like a visual learner. A lesson plan for a one hour session might include a writing warm up such as instructions on how to write a thesis statement or organizing an introduction paragraph then learning ways to edit or add additional information to it to give it personality. What sets me apart from other tutors is my patience and understanding for every level of education every person has and making lessons engaging and realistic to their goals. I can teach any age of English from ESL to any high school class.
