For many people, working hard and making money to support themselves and their family, has come naturally. The world is set up for that. There are so many companies and individuals out there willing to make use of your labor and skills to create a major profit for themselves. It is so easy to become a cog in the wheel of capitalism. I am, at times, also one of the cogs, earning money to support my dreams, but this has never defined who I am.
I am a seeker, and I have spent my life deeply questioning the possibilities and opportunities available to humans. From a young age I was wondering what this life is all about and how to best to approach it to get the most out of it. All along the way I’ve experimented, finding alternative ways to learn, explore, expand, support myself, and contribute something meaningful to the many lives on this planet.
I have always been fascinated by the social, cultural, physical, natural, psychological, and spiritual diversity of this world. I have seen so much of what is going on in society that I can offer very different perspectives, possibilities, and approaches to life that can be extremely valuable in transforming the way you experience and enjoy life.
I am a natural teacher, trained to create lessons/plans/structures that focus on the needs of the student/client. Your first free lesson will be a discussion that helps us co-create a plan to support your goals and dreams.
Below is a long list that highlights my life experience. It is meant to help you imagine how I might be able to help you see new perspectives on life and find ways to deepen your enjoyment of life. I did all of this spending, on average, only $15,000 a year. Living well requires creativity more than money.

I first met Walker 15 years ago at my wedding. He was a close friend of my (now ex-) husband's family. I immediately had so much gratitude for Walker as a year earlier, he helped my ex, who was a homeless heroin addict, get clean. My 3 children and I loved when he visited every few years - he has a curious, playful nature that we all wanted to be around. I became a single mom 10 years later and didn't have enough time or energy to accomplish some of my goals on top of working and raising kids. Walker visited for a few months and facilitated a huge clean-up of my old house and helped me navigate the home-buying process. Over the years in subsequent visits, he has helped me with numerous home projects in my new home. I'm forever grateful for all the practical help but more than that, I'm grateful for his friendship. Walker asks questions that get me to think about who I am and what I want. We have fun together and we work hard together. He's taught me so many things about yoga, healthy eating, cooking, communication, relationships, and traveling on a tight budget - he's THE BEST travel partner. Walker is honest, trustworthy, intelligent, patient, a natural teacher and excellent communicator. A forever friend.
Walker took a subtle, courteous, and humble approach to understanding me and helping me identify and remove self-imposed barriers on my potential. He compassionately listened to understand my challenges and the wishes I had for my my future. He opened my perspective to help me appreciate more of the beauty that already existed in my life while gently challenging me to exercise greater compassion, self care, and introspection.
Having been childhood friends 30 years ago, I invited Walker for an extended in-home session. Over that time, he was able to understand enough of my lifestyle and beliefs to subtly challenge my comfort zone, causing me to open up, reframe unhealthy thought patterns, challenge myself to take more risks, and to have a more compassionate and confident existence.
Since our sessions, I have continued to practice what we discussed and as a result have changed my attitude toward dating/relationships for the better - resulting in more organic connections. I've made massive positive shifts in my career by prioritizing my needs and life objectives, and have fostered more loving relationships with friends and family members.Talking to Walker is always an amazing experience! He is very knowledgeable in so many different topics (arts, education, psychology, history, philosophy, traveling, outdoor activities, current affairs, politics, religions, cultures, and so many more) that the conversations can carry on for hours, getting naturally deeper and broader, without ever feeling tiresome, heavy or forced. He knows how to make thought-provoking questions without sounding intrusive or confrontational and will listen and welcome your arguments and points of view in a polite and considerate way. With all his academic and professional background, as well as his incredible life experiences, Walker is great teacher and can help you improve not only your English proficiency but your conversation skills as well.
