About Devin
I am a licensed teacher in Virginia, currently teaching grades 9-12 social studies classes in the alternative education program with my county. Our class sizes are small which allows me to get to know my students very well, while also allowing more one-on-one or small-group work and individualizing lessons/activities. I'm passionate about learning and hope to inspire that same passion through teaching.

I tailor lessons to individual students' needs, with consideration for students with IEP or 504 plans. I currently teach grades 9-12, but I can tutor grades 6-12 in any social studies course you have. These courses can include US History, World History, Geography, and Government/Civics. I love working one-on-one with students and cultivating lessons/activities to help each student achieve their academic goals.
