About Allie
Hello! I’m Allie, a licensed school counselor with years of experience helping children build strong, healthy relationships and confidently navigate social situations. I specialize in online social skills tutoring for students ages 5–14, offering engaging, strengths-based sessions that are personalized to each child’s needs. As a mom of five boys—one of whom is on the autism spectrum and works daily on building his own social skills—I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to every session. I know firsthand how important it is to have the right support, tools, and encouragement to help children grow socially and emotionally. In my full-time role as a school counselor, I work closely with students every day to strengthen skills like emotional regulation, peer interactions, conflict resolution, and reading social cues. I use a variety of interactive strategies—games, role-play, visual supports, and real-world scenarios—to make learning both meaningful and fun. Each session is designed to create a safe, encouraging space where kids feel seen, supported, and capable. Whether your child is shy, neurodivergent, navigating friendship challenges, or just needs a boost in social confidence, I’d love to help. My goal is always the same: to meet kids where they are and guide them toward success in ways that are practical, affirming, and tailored just for them.

As a licensed school counselor with a strong background in child development and behavioral support, I offer online, personalized social skills tutoring for children ages 5–14. My teaching approach is strengths-based and student-centered, blending therapeutic insight with fun, hands-on learning to help children grow in confidence and social connection.
Each virtual lesson is designed to be interactive and engaging, beginning with a friendly check-in, followed by a focused skill (such as managing emotions, initiating conversations, or reading social cues), and activities like role-play, visual prompts, games, and storytelling. Sessions end with a short reflection and a real-life strategy students can use between lessons.
What sets me apart is my ability to create a warm, safe, and encouraging online space where students feel heard and supported. I tailor every session to each child’s developmental stage, personality, and specific needs—whether they’re shy, neurodivergent, adjusting to a new environment, or simply seeking stronger peer connections. Parents are included through progress updates and practical tips to reinforce learning at home.
