About April Mae
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Teacher who is passionate about helping young learners build a strong foundation in math. I have experience teaching children through online lessons, focusing on basic skills such as counting, number recognition, addition, and subtraction.
As a LET passer, I am trained in effective teaching strategies and classroom management. I create a fun, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel confident and motivated to learn. My goal is to help every child understand math easily and enjoy the learning process.

My lessons are designed to be fun, interactive, and easy to understand—especially for young learners.
I focus on helping children build a strong foundation in math, including counting, number recognition, addition, subtraction, and simple problem-solving. I use colorful visuals, engaging activities, and simple explanations to make learning enjoyable and less stressful.
Each lesson is personalized based on the student’s level and pace. I make sure that the child fully understands the topic before moving on. I also encourage participation by asking questions and giving small challenges during the lesson.
To keep students motivated, I provide positive feedback and simple rewards like points or praise for correct answers. My goal is to help children feel confident, improve their skills, and enjoy learning math.
I also give short practice activities or homework if needed to reinforce learning outside the lesson.
