About Wajiha
Hi, I'm Dr. Wajiha Shaikh, I recently completed my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and am currently working as a House Officer. During my studies and clinical training, I spent years learning subjects such as Physiology, Cellular Biology, Biomechanics, and other health sciences, which are now part of my daily work and practice.
I know from experience that subjects like biology and physiology can seem difficult when they are taught in a way that focuses only on memorization. I prefer explaining topics step by step and using simple examples so that students understand the "why" behind concepts rather than just learning facts for an exam.
I am patient, organized, and happy to adapt lessons to each student's needs. Whether you're struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an exam, or trying to improve your overall understanding, I will work with you at a pace that suits you.
As someone who has recently gone through university exams, practical assessments, and clinical training, I understand the challenges students face and the study methods that actually work. My aim is to make lessons clear, comfortable, and useful, so students leave each session feeling more confident than when they started.

My teaching approach is centered on understanding rather than memorization. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate and current House Officer, I have spent years studying and applying subjects such as Physiology, Cellular Biology, Anatomy, and related health sciences. This allows me to explain concepts in a clear and practical way that students can easily understand and remember.
I tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs, learning style, and academic goals. I use simple explanations, diagrams, clinical examples, and practice questions to make difficult topics more approachable. Students are encouraged to ask questions and actively participate throughout the lesson to build confidence and strengthen their understanding.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if needed. Lessons can focus on concept review, exam preparation, assignment support, or building a strong foundation in the subject.
My lessons are suitable for high school students, A-Level students, pre-medical students, and undergraduate students studying biology, physiology or other health science subjects. Whether you need help passing an exam or aiming for top grades, I am committed to helping you achieve your goals in a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
