About Neil Yves
As a licensed Civil Engineer, I've been trained to approach problems analytically and consider different perspectives before arriving at the best solution. I bring the same mindset to tutoring mathematics. Many math problems can be solved using more than one method, and I help students understand these different approaches so they can determine which works best for them. Rather than simply teaching formulas or procedures, I focus on the underlying concepts and reasoning behind each solution. My goal is to help students develop strong problem-solving skills, think critically, and build the confidence to solve unfamiliar problems independently.
