About Ariela
I am an architect and designer with 20 years experience in Canada and abroad. I have degrees in architecture and environmental studies from University of Waterloo. I am originally from Montreal and I work in French and English. (voir francais ci-bas). I am self-employed and I design homes, commercial spaces, structure, interiors and furniture. My expertise as a sustainability consultant and ecologist is bonus for those seeking to learn about environmental and ethical practices.
I have mentored dozens of people over 15 years. I like to empower people to do-it-themselves giving them valuable insight and tools to create and learn in a competent and fun way.

I teach design , architecture ( construction, theory, planning, technical), and sustainable development. The lessons are organized specifically for what you want to learn by understanding your individual background and goals. We establish clear exercises, tasks, projects, and steps to accomplish your objectives. You will work at a pace that is challenging yet within the limits of your time and resources.

-all aspects of designing: design development, presentations, colors and materials, fabrication

-manual artistic practices (hand drawing, model making )
-design software (autocad, adobe suite, sketchup)
-sustainable and green building practices ( LEED and other certifications, permaculture, regenerative design, biomimicry)
