About Harriet
My name is Harriet and I am a year 13 student based in Hertfordshire. Next year I will be pursuing my degree in politics and foreign languages at the University of Bath.
I have over a year of tutoring experience and I am passionate about helping others to learn! I would love to show my students how rewarding and fun learning a new language can be.
I specialise in helping students improve on their reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary, and I will work hard to ensure that they meet their goals!

The lessons are for GCSE students year 9-11:
- English is my first language therefore I will be effective in teaching French students from a second language perspective
- My typical lesson length will be an hour
- my experience as a tutor comes from tutoring year 7 students in reading once a week for over a year, as well as bi-weekly French tutoring for a family friend
- in our tutoring sessions we can go through the individual topics to help to grasp a greater understanding of the French language and the francophone world
- we can also practise past papers and personalise our learning schedule to target specific areas that the student finds they don't get enough help on in school, for example grammar.
