About Maariyah

I’m an A-Level student passionate about maths and biology, and I love helping others understand these subjects better. I want to teach because I know how confusing topics can be, and I enjoy making learning clearer and more enjoyable for students, helping them build confidence and succeed. As I have experience in A-Level maths and biology, not understanding basic concepts thoroughly can lead to challenges in later years. I believe even students who find these subjects difficult can excel in the correct environment.

About the lesson

I’m a friendly A-Level student who teaches maths and biology to younger academic years (primary school-year 10). I believe learning should feel clear, personal, and even enjoyable. My approach is all about building real understanding—not just memorising—for long-term confidence. I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s pace and learning style, making sure they feel supported, not overwhelmed. Whether it’s tricky exam content or just building the basics, I aim to make lessons relaxed, focused, and genuinely helpful. I have achieved both A’s in the subject I teach and also have experience tutoring previously.

I then found Maariyah and can now apply for my dream universities with the grades I have. I couldn’t recommend her enough. She thoroughly explains all the content in a way that I can understand.
