About Jeanne

Bonjour! My name is Jeanne and am a student in Edinburgh. I completed both my French GCSE and A Level in Yr8 and Yr13 respectively. Tutoring with me will be filled with learning as well as fun. I always want my lessons to be an engaging environment where my students can feel comfortable questions and asking me to repeat myself to get the best pronunciation. I accept students of all levels so even if you are a very beginner please do sign up! Merci!

About the lesson

- My lessons are for anyone interested in improving their spoken French through conversation, written through essay planning and reading through comprehension.
- I have passed both French GCSE and A Level with an A* and have tutored GCSE level for a few months.
- I have experience tutoring younger children (5-8 years old) through fun methods such as cooking and creative arts
- When tutoring younger children, the key for me is to transmit confidence in what they are learning and to get pronunciation nailed down!
- Typically, a lesson with me will last either 1 hour, 1.5 hours or 2 hours. I would always suggest to begin with 1 hour/ 1.5 hours and increase during exam sessions.
