About Damilola
I am a 17-year-old student with O level qualification. Growing up, my mom always used words that weren’t normal everyday words and I’d always have to ask for the meaning. That helped me develop my vocabulary and become fluent in my speech. I also spent some time going through my dictionary, not because I thought it was fun but because I wanted to learn new words. I was eager to expand my vocabulary because I felt people judge you by your speech and so, I always wanted to make an impression. Being eloquently spoken gives an insane confidence boost, I want my students to experience this and never be shy to speak, no matter the time or place.

English language is seen by most people as an easy subject but truth is, it can be the trickiest of them all. My aim is to help students understand the nitty-gritty of the language and conquer the challenges they might face along the way. I have tutored primary and secondary school students before and my lessons are conveyed in the simplest way ever, free from any form of ambiguity. I try to make the classes last a maximum of 80 minutes so students don’t lose focus, although the classes can surpass the given time if need be.
