About Isobel
I have level 9 GCSE grades in both English Language and English Literature. I was part of the first academic group to do the new 1-9 GCSE exams so I had to re-learn how to write appropriately to a mark scheme and express the key factors needed in a new form of essay.
I am currently predicted an A* at A Level English Literature, and hope to go on to study Law with Politics at university

My teaching method is picking apart the key aspects of a mark scheme/essay structure and identifying what the strengths and weaknesses of the student are.
The key to my method is not just writing to a mark scheme, but also developing skills and a vocabulary suitable to make a great writer of any student. Engaging and learning from literature is important for any English student, so finding ways to make revision interesting and help students to enjoy writing is another key aspect.
