About Joseph
I am a student at The Univerity of Edinburgh studying economics and finance. I studied Economics, Maths and Chemistry at A-level gaining an A*A*A respectively. During A-levels, I helped many others understand the course and my essays were considered some of the best my teacher had seen and used multiple times to show to the class. During my A-level time, I also tutored in maths for children having a hard time understanding the concepts. In addition I have just come out of the sixth form so I still know the test papers well and know what people need to do in order to get top marks.

My teaching method is to be patient and work alongside my students in a friendly fashion as its a lot easier to learn when you don't feel intimidated by the teacher. Going through slowing and making sure there are strong foundations before building up subject knowledge is key to getting the essays. Aswell while in the end, my essays were some of the highest in the class, essay writing does not come easily to me and so I'm understanding with others when they need help. Also I have brought copious A-level economics notes that I will be able to share and go through.
