About Michael
I live and breathe mathematics myself, as part of my own education (Masters from top global math university), my professional life (quant at top tier investment bank, portfolio construction at a top sovereign wealth fund, actuarial modeling at a global insurtech). More often than not, this profession requires breaking down complex models and making them tangible to the audience, whether this is a board of directors, students, or professionals at a conference. As a hobby I do fundamental mathematical research (papers on financial methods, portfolio construction, number theory) and "making math simple", with illustrations, coding, games, or most recently, AI. All this tooling and hands-on experience allows me to tailor subjects to the audience, whether these are bank supervisors or my very own children in primary school. The tuition is about your learning goals, and tailoring the best method to accelerate and amplify your individual thinking style, equip you with confidence to master and achieve those goals.
