I have worked with many students and also have been a student for a very long time so I feel as though I am beyond capable of helping students with their math needs. I try to make math fun! I will take your topic and transform it into a lesson that is engaging and fun for you! I like to present things different ways so that it suits the learner whether it be through a hands on activity, a visual activity, or a game. A typical lesson plan starts with going over the basics of the topic. This includes definitions, applications, and a few examples. Then, we will get into the nitty gritty of the topic. We will work together through an activity and then I will let you loose to work through it on your. I am a firm believer in the I do, we do, you do approach. I have seen it work for a multitude of students. What sets me apart is that I am going to make sure you enjoy your time even if you hate math. I am able to teach middle school up through early undergraduate level. Specific topics that I excel in are statistics, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and geometry.
