About Nader
Nader Al-Khatib works as a mechanical designer for industrial production plants adhering to quality standards such as Qs 9000, AVSQ ’94, VDA 6.1, EAQF, and NAAMS design standards. His main activities include technical drawing, complex mechanical design, and feasibility studies for industrial machinery, primarily in the automotive sector (Magneti Marelli, Comau, PSC, FCA, Joyson Safety Systems). He combines his expertise in CATIA, SolidWorks, and NX with strong coding skills, enabling him to execute high-level automation tasks such as assembly parametric variation, Macro and API development, Auto-BOM generation, file management, barcode traceability, and software solutions for production support. His experience with FFF 3D printing, CAM, and CNC machines has led to significant advancements in research and development of production procedures. In synergy with his OHSAS 14001 courses, he has also organised manufacturing processes and quality control checkpoints. His technical and fluent English has allowed him to represent companies on international assignments for both design and business purposes. As a contracted instructor at Eurlink Srl, he delivers courses and private lessons on CAD design, CAM, technical drawing, and fundamental principles of mechanical design. He independently patented a lithium-polymer battery balancing system, which was awarded full recognition by the European Patent Office (EPO). This project required him to develop expertise in multiple programming languages (C, C++, VB, Python) and acquire in-depth knowledge of electronics, electrical schematics, and datasheets. He has held administrative roles and is currently Vice President of an innovation laboratory, where he is an expert in 3D printing and drone technology. He has organised and taught programming courses for students, teachers, and companies to promote digital literacy. Additionally, he has arranged both local and international conferences, collaborating with the MIT FabAcademy program. His administrative experience has strengthened his ability to make critical decisions under pressure with high levels of responsibility.
