About JIMMY
As a History graduate from Universiti Malaya with strong academic results in History (A in both SPM and STPM), I have a solid foundation in the subject as well as experience in explaining and guiding students through complex topics in a simplified way.
My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students, especially those preparing for exams such as SPM. I focus on helping students build confidence, improve understanding, and perform better in examinations through consistent and supportive guidance.

My tutoring approach focuses on making History simple, clear, and easy to understand for students of different levels.
I use a variety of teaching techniques, including visual aids such as diagrams, mind maps, timelines, and pictures to help students better understand historical events and concepts. This visual approach makes learning more engaging and helps students remember information more effectively. I also explain topics step by step in a gentle and patient manner, ensuring that students fully grasp each concept before moving on.
Each lesson typically lasts between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s needs and the topic being covered. I can also adjust the pace and duration based on the student’s understanding and academic goals.
