About Jusver
Having worked with dis-engaged learners, I have ensured that they are once again engaged and motivated. I did this by spending time with individuals addressing their individual concerns, being consistent and ensuring that I kept to all deadlines set; this in return gave learners the consistency they were after, and provided them with a structure that they had previously lacked. Individually learners started to see that they did matter and that their voice had been heard. In return learners started to make progress by completing classwork and homework; learners thrived and enjoyed coming to learn.
The once disengaged learners had now become engaged learners, they were no longer off their target grade, some learners had progressed so much that they had exceeded their set target grade. Learning for them was not through text books, it had to mean something to them, and therefore, I had to be creative with how I taught. For example, when teaching ‘A Christmas Carol’, I ensured learners learnt off a script so that they could be characters, as opposed to teaching from a text book. I ensured that resources accommodated for ability, no two learners had the same learning experience, this cohort needed someone to show them that they could achieve and succeed.

Since becoming qualified, I have taught a range of subjects; English Language and Literature, Media, Cooking, Psychology, Sociology, Child Development and Health and Social Care. I have demonstrated that I am an adaptable individual, who can engage learners and meet the requirements of the exam board to deliver to a range of learners.
I believe that my various teaching roles have proven that I am a dedicated, adaptable and motivated individual, who is capable of teaching various subjects. I have also demonstrated that I can manage my own workload and provide constructive feedback to the learners which I teach.
I have empowered learners to aim for their fullest potential, and work to the best of their ability, through my skills in motivating even the least interested learners.
