About Kara
I am a violin instructor with 8 years of teaching experience and a Licentiate of Music in Violin. My approach blends classical tradition with creative expression, helping students develop both technical skill and musical personality. I focus on key areas such as bowing, vibrato, phrasing, and interpretation to bring every piece to life.
I guide students through a variety of styles, from classical repertoire to contemporary music, tailoring lessons to individual goals. I also provide dedicated support for ABRSM and Trinity exams, helping learners prepare with confidence and clarity. For those interested in ensemble playing, I offer orchestral coaching to develop listening skills, teamwork, and stage presence.
Each lesson is designed to inspire curiosity, discipline, and a love for the violin.
