About Barnabas
I believe that as a tutor I am here to help you with more than just answering homework questions. I want to make sure we discuss study habits, positive approaches to learning, and growth mindset. In addition to my BSc in Financial Math and Econ and my MA in Economic Policy, I am working on another MA and so you can tell that I enjoy learning and I enjoy making learning accessible and even fun. I have studied or worked on 4 different Canadian university campuses and journeyed with students from a wide range of backgrounds and interests.

In our lessons I will help you really understand underlying economic theories and principles. I particularly want to help you read with attention. Each lesson will be a hybrid of unpacking theory and making difficult concepts accessible, and tackling practice questions or reviewing test results from your courses.
I have experience as a TA for intermediate microeconomics and can help with both the math and statistics side of econ (I have BSc with Distinction in Financial Math and Econ) and the reading, research, and writing side of economics.
