I'm Nic Alexander, a reality TV producer, digital media creator, and marketing specialist. In my class on reality television and viral media, I draw from my hands-on experience working with leading entertainment networks like VH1, MTV, Bravo, and Netflix, as well as digital media startups like NEOU Fitness. My approach to teaching is dynamic and highly practical, emphasizing real-world industry standards while encouraging innovation. I believe in equipping students with the creative and technical skills needed to thrive in an ever-evolving media landscape.
My teaching method involves a blend of interactive discussions, case studies, and project-based learning. I guide students through every stage of content creation—from ideation and casting to production and post-production—highlighting the elements that contribute to both successful reality television and viral media.
A typical lesson plan includes an exploration of current trends, analysis of successful shows or viral campaigns, hands-on exercises in storytelling, and technical training on platforms and tools that drive the industry today.
