About Priyanshu
I am a professional backend software engineer who began my programming journey by teaching myself from scratch. Along the way, I made countless mistakes, explored many dead ends, and spent hours understanding concepts through trial and error. Those experiences taught me not just how to write code, but how to think like an engineer.
Today, I work professionally building backend systems, and I bring that real-world experience into every lesson. My goal is to help students avoid the mistakes I made, learn concepts from first principles, and build the confidence to solve challenging problems on their own. I believe the best way to learn programming is to understand **why** things work, not just how to write code that compiles. My teaching is based on first principles, helping students build strong fundamentals so they can solve difficult problems independently instead of relying on tutorials or memorized patterns.
In my classes, we focus on Go, SQL, databases, backend development, REST APIs, concurrency, authentication, and system design. Every lesson starts with the core concept, followed by hands-on coding, real-world examples, and practical exercises. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and understand the trade-offs behind engineering decisions.
