About MANASHWI
II am an LLB graduate with a strong foundation in law, which complements my role as an English-speaking teacher. With a background in the ICSE curriculum, I bring a structured and holistic approach to language learning. My teaching methods are collaborative, ensuring active engagement with my students through various activities such as extempore speaking and interactive speech exercises.
In addition to traditional methods, I incorporate practical scenarios and real-life discussions into my lessons, helping students develop not only their language skills but also their critical thinking and articulation abilities. My legal training enables me to guide students in mastering formal language, essential for professional and academic settings.
I am highly organized, drawing on my experience in contract management to ensure that each lesson is well-planned and tailored to the needs of my students. Whether preparing for public speaking or everyday conversations, my lessons provide students with the confidence and clarity they need to express themselves effectively in English.

Teaching English speaking effectively involves a mix of practical communication exercises, listening comprehension, vocabulary building, and pronunciation practice. Here’s a structured approach you can take:
1. Assess Learners' Current Level
Begin by assessing the students' proficiency in speaking English. This will help you tailor your lessons based on their current abilities.
2. Focus on Everyday Conversations
Teach vocabulary and phrases that are commonly used in daily conversations. Role-playing everyday scenarios like ordering food, introducing oneself, or asking for directions can make lessons more practical.
3. Encourage Speaking from Day One
Even if learners are beginners, encourage them to start speaking in English early on. This could be as simple as responding to basic questions or introducing themselves in English.
4. Use Repetition and Drills
Repetition is key when learning a new language. Use speaking drills to help students practice pronunciation, sentence structure, and improve fluency.
5. Focus on Listening Comprehension
Good speakers are also good listeners. Provide students with English-language listening materials, such as podcasts, videos, or recordings. Follow up with discussions or comprehension questions.
6. Use Group Activities
Group activities like discussions, debates, and group projects give learners the chance to practice speaking with others. It reduces pressure and helps them feel more comfortable.
7. Teach Pronunciation and Intonation
English pronunciation can be tricky. Teach correct pronunciation of sounds that are challenging for learners. Also, focus on intonation and rhythm, which are important for speaking naturally.
8. Expand Vocabulary
Introduce new vocabulary words in context and encourage learners to use them in their speech. Emphasize the use of phrasal verbs and idioms to make their speech more native-like.
9. Provide Feedback and Corrections
Correct students' mistakes in a constructive manner. Focus on improving fluency first, then work on accuracy. Offer praise to build their confidence.
10. Encourage Continuous Practice
Advise students to practice speaking outside of the classroom environment. Language exchange partners, speaking with native speakers, and recording themselves speaking are great ways to keep improving.
11. Incorporate Technology
Use language learning apps, online video conversations, and interactive speaking exercises to enhance learning.
12. Set Clear Goals
Help learners set achievable goals, such as being able to hold a 5-minute conversation or discussing a specific topic fluently. This keeps them motivated and focused.
